Special report on the impacts of global warming of 1.5°C above pre-industrial levels and related global greenhouse gas emission pathways (SR1.5)
Following the decision of the panel at its 43rd Session to accept the invitation from the UNFCCC, at its 44th Session, the Panel approved the outline of Global Warming of 1.5°C, an IPCC special report on the impacts of global warming of 1.5°C above pre-industrial levels and related global greenhouse gas emission pathways, in the context of strengthening the global response to the threat of climate change, sustainable development, and efforts to eradicate poverty.

Special Report on climate change and oceans and the cryosphere (SROCC)
At its 43rd Session (Nairobi, Kenya, 11 - 13 April 2016), the IPCC decided to prepare a special report on climate change and the oceans and the cryosphere. During its 45th Session (Guadalajara, Mexico, 28 - 31 March 2017), the Panel approved the outline of the Special Report on the Ocean and Cryosphere in a Changing Climate to be finalized in September 2019.
The Special Report will be developed under the joint scientific leadership of Working Groups I, II and III with support from the WGII TSU.

Special Report on climate change, desertification, land degradation, sustainable land management, food security, and greenhouse gas fluxes in terrestrial ecosystems (SRCCL)
At its 43rd Session (Nairobi, Kenya, 11 - 13 April 2016), the IPCC decided to prepare a special report on climate change, desertification, land degradation, sustainable land management, food security, and greenhouse gas fluxes in terrestrial ecosystems. At its 45th Session (Guadalajara, Mexico, 28 - 31 March 2017), the Panel approved the outline of Climate Change and Land: an IPCC special report on climate change, desertification, land degradation, sustainable land management, food security, and greenhouse gas fluxes in terrestrial ecosystems. The report will be finalized in September 2019.
